The high quality finish, colour and texture are designed specifically to maintain the original look of your vehicles interior.\nSteering Control Adaptor\nA stalk/steering wheel control adaptor enables you to utilise the original factory remote audio (whether built onto steering wheel or fitted on a stalk next to the steering wheel) with an aftermarket unit.\nAerial Adaptor\nAn Aerial Adaptor is needed when replacing the original factory fitted head unit with an aftermarket head unit.\nThis cable converts the original antenna connector in the car, known as a Fakra connector, to a standard aftermarket antenna connector, known as a DIN connector. The adapter cable has a built in module which provides a phantom power feed to the original antenna in the car. A phantom power feed is a 12v power supply that is sent up the centre wire of the antenna cable, this powers the amplifier built into the original antenna. The antenna adapter cable has a loose wire which needs to be connected to the 12v antenna power output of the new aftermarket stereo.\nUniversal Patch Lead\nUniversal patch lead to be used with In car Tec 29- series steering wheel control interfaces. This cable plugs into the ICT control box and connects to the 3.5mm socket or single wire on the back of the new head-unit. This item has loose wires and leads so it can be configured to suit the brand of radio being fitted.\nThis kit is for vehicles with standard audio systems, vehicles with Harman/Kardon or Alpine Premium systems will require the amplifier to be bypassed.\nFreelander 2 vehicles with original parking sensors will require an additional interface to retain the parking tones. An alternative kit is available that includes this interface.\nImportant Fascia Notes\nThe fascias are made to suit industry standard sized stereos such as Pioneer, Kenwood, Sony, Alpine, JVC etc, NOT INCLUDING China units or unbranded units.\nChina units have a reputation to be over sized and may require modification to the fascia to allow it to fit.\nWe do not take any responsibility for China units not fitting as they are not industry standard size.\nCar Audio Fitting Accessories are sold with limited instructions.
