"description": "Complete stereo upgrade kit to install a single or double din aftermarket radio and retain the use of the steering wheel controls in a 2013 onward Ford Transit with a display above the radio.\nPackage Includes\nFascia With Brackets (Dark Grey)\nSteering Control Interface Adaptor\nAM/FM antenna adapter\nUniversal patch lead (Included)\nInstallation of this kit will result in the ORIGINAL TOP DISPLAY BEING LOST\nFascia Adaptor\nThis adaptor will convert the non din-sized aperture left after removing the factory stereo to a din size ready for head unit installation. The high quality finish, colour and texture are designed specifically to maintain the original look of your vehicles interior.\nThe fascia adaptor allows the fitting of an aftermarket radio into the dashboard by matching the shape, style and colour of the original radio. The fascia kit uses side fixing brackets, the brackets fit directly to the sides of the new radio and the fascia panel. This replaces the need for a fitting cage and gives a flush professional appearance to the installation. A spare pocket is supplied for fitting a single din stereo.\nSteering Control Adaptor\nA stalk/steering wheel control adaptor enables you to utilise the original factory remote audio (whether built onto steering wheel or fitted on a stalk next to the steering wheel) with an aftermarket unit.\nA steering wheel control interface is also included in this kit. This will retain the use of the original audio controls on the steering wheel with the new radio.\nAerial Adaptor\nAn Aerial Adaptor is needed when replacing the original factory fitted head unit with an aftermarket head unit.\nA Fakra to DIN antenna adapter is also included in the kit, this adapts from the original style antenna connector in the van, known as a Fakra connector, to a standard aftermarket antenna connector, known as a din connector.\nAn additional airbag light unit or blanking plate is also required. If the vehicle originally had a passenger airbag status light in the radio panel, a replacement airbag status light unit is required, failure to refit one will cause airbag warning lights to show on the instrument cluster. If the vehicle does not have a passenger airbag status light, a blanking plate is required to fill the space in the new fascia.\nSee the image below for examples of the components fitted into a fascia.\nImportant Fascia Notes\nThe fascias are made to suit industry standard sized stereos such as Pioneer, Kenwood, Sony, Alpine, JVC etc, NOT INCLUDING China units or unbranded units.\nChina units have a reputation to be over sized and may require modification to the fascia to allow it to fit.\nWe do not take any responsibility for China units not fitting as they are not industry standard size.\nCar Audio Fitting Accessories are sold with limited instructions. Some knowledge of car audio installation is helpful, as in some rare case \"modification\" is necessary.\nPlease make sure that is the correct Fitting Kit for your vehicle by firstly checking to see if your vehicle make, model and year is listed in the description. Secondly by checking to see if the connection & Shape in the picture listed is the same as you have in your vehicle. If in doubt please email us with your vehicle details and we will confirm what you require.",
