"description": "MOST fibre optic interface designed to retain the use of the original fibre optic audio amplifier (Mercedes Audio Gateway or harman/kardon amplifier) in Mercedes CL, CLS, E Class, SL and SLK cars to allow the fitting of an aftermarket radio upgrade.\nThe interface connects at the back of the radio, it takes the phono audio output from the new radio and converts it to a digital signal that works with the original MOST fibre optic amplifier in the car.\nif the car has speaker wiring in the Quadlock connector then it is NOT a fibre-optic amplified system and this interface is not needed.\nThis interface does not retain the use of the steering wheel controls. A separate steering control interface will be required.",
