"description": "Complete stereo upgrade fitting kit to install a Single DIN aftermarket radio and retain the use of the steering wheel controls in select Mercedes vehicles with factory fitted Audio 5/Sound 5 systems.\nPackage Includes\nSingle Din Car Radio Fascia\nAudio 5/Sound 5 Steering Wheel Control Interface\nFakra to Din Antenna Adaptor Cable\nUniversal patch lead (Included)\nThis interface comes with a universal patch lead which can be used with Alpine, Blaupunkt, Clarion, Pioneer, JVC, Kenwood, Sony or Zenec Head-units.\nThis interface is only suitable for Mercedes vehicles with factory fitted Audio 5/Sound 5 systems\nFascia Adaptor\nThis adaptor will convert the non din-sized aperture left after removing the factory stereo to a din size ready for head unit installation. The high quality finish, colour and texture are designed specifically to maintain the original look of your vehicles interior.\nSteering Control Adaptor\nA stalk/steering wheel control adaptor enables you to utilise the original factory remote audio (whether built onto steering wheel or fitted on a stalk next to the steering wheel) with an aftermarket unit.\nCANbus steering wheel control interface for Mercedes vehicles with factory fitted Audio 5/Sound 5 systems. This interface uses ISO connections behind the original radio to allow the use of the original steering wheel control buttons with a new aftermarket head-unit. It also provides CANbus outputs as well as Ignition, speed pulse, reverse, handbrake and illumination signals. Can also be used on some 1st Gen VW Crafter vehicles.\nThe interface also comes complete with instructions and a universal patch lead which can be used with Alpine, Blaupunkt, Clarion, Pioneer, JVC, Kenwood, Sony or Zenec Head-units.\nThis interface is only suitable for Mercedes vehicles with factory fitted Audio 5/Sound 5 systems\nFakra to DIN antenna adapter cable\nMale Fakra to Male DIN antenna adapter cable. This cable adapts from a Farka antenna connection at the back of the cars original radio to a standard aftermarket DIN antenna connection to allow the fitting of an aftermarket radio upgrade. This is a passive adapter cable, not suitable for cars that need a phantom power supply to turn on the antenna amplifier.\nCar Audio Fitting Accessories are sold with limited instructions. Some knowledge of car audio installation is helpful, as in some rare case \"modification\" is necessary.\nPlease make sure that is the correct Fitting Kit for your vehicle by firstly checking to see if your vehicle make, model and year is listed in the description. Secondly by checking to see if the connection & Shape in the picture listed is the same as you have in your vehicle. If in doubt please email us with your vehicle details and we will confirm what you require.",
