"description": "Complete stereo upgrade fitting kit to install a Single DIN aftermarket radio in various Volkswagen cars\nSuitable for cars with Highline specification or an Amplifier.\nPackage Includes\nSingle DIN Fascia Adaptor With Removable Pocket\nRadio Replacement Steering Wheel Adaptor Interface\nDouble Fakra to Din Aerial Adaptor (Phantom Power) with Bullet Connector\nUniversal patch lead (Included)\nFascia Adaptor\nThis adaptor will convert the non din-sized aperture left after removing the factory stereo to a din size ready for head unit installation. The high quality finish, colour and texture are designed specifically to maintain the original look of your vehicles interior.\nThe fascia adaptor allows the fitting of an aftermarket radio into the dashboard by matching the shape, style and colour of the original radio.\nThis fascia kit comes with a removable pocket. For double DIN installations the central bar will need to be cut out and a radio cage used.\nSteering Control Adaptor\nA stalk/steering wheel control adaptor enables you to utilise the original factory remote audio (whether built onto steering wheel or fitted on a stalk next to the steering wheel) with an aftermarket unit.\nProvides CANbus ignition to the new radio and CANbus speed pulse, reverse gear and handbrake outputs. The interface also provides a CAN amplifier turn on signal for cars fitted with the original Dynaudio and select Fender sound systems. (These systems can be identified by the branding on the speaker grills, pictured below)\nThis interface also retains the original parking sensor display, (Parking Distance Control - PDC) and climate control information that is shown on the original radio. IF AVAILABLE ON THE VEHICLE\nThis information is transferred to the white display on the instrument cluster.\nThe PDC and climate info is shown on the cars central display between the clocks, NOT ON THE NEW RADIO\nSee the example images below for how the information is displayed and the white display which is compatible.\nDouble Fakra to Din Aerial Adaptor (Phantom Power) with Bullet Connector\nDouble Fakra to DIN antenna adapter cable with 12v phantom power from a male bullet connection. This antenna adapter cable adapts from the original Double Fakra connector in the vehicle to a standard aftermarket radio DIN antenna connection for the fitting of a stereo upgrade.\nThis fitting kit is compatible with Volkswagen original head units fitted with a twin Fakra connection and an amplified sound system. Please see pictures below.\nPlease note that some vehicles have original DAB. This is not retained with this kit and will require 21-037 Fakra to SMB adapter.\nThis kit also does not retain original reverse cameras or USB and AUX ports. Please see the other items listed against your car and original head unit to see if these are available as they vary by model and originally fitted radio.\nNot suitable for later (2017 onwards) Composition or Discover systems.\nThis kit also fits various Skoda and Seat cars.\nSuitable for Skoda Superb cars with the original Columbus navigation radio.\nFOR UNBRANDED/ CHINESE HEAD UNITS YOU WILL REQUIRE A DEDICATED 49-000 PATCH LEAD\nImportant Fascia Notes\nChina units have a reputation to be over sized and may require modification to the fascia to allow it to fit.\nWe do not take any responsibility for China units not fitting as they are not industry standard size.\nIf the cage supplied with the stereo does not fit the fascia then you must purchase a universal cage which is slightly smaller.\nClick here for CT23UN01 UNIVERSAL Mounting Cage\nCar Audio Fitting Accessories are sold with limited instructions. Some knowledge of car audio installation is helpful, as in some rare case \"modification\" is necessary.\nPlease make sure that is the correct Fitting Kit for your vehicle by firstly checking to see if your vehicle make, model and year is listed in the description. Secondly by checking to see if the connection & Shape in the picture listed is the same as you have in your vehicle. If in doubt please email us with your vehicle details and we will confirm what you require.",
