This also applies to the legendary Blaupunkt “Hamburg SQM 23” from 1983. Now we present the new interpretation of the popular 1-DIN car radio and combine the design of the 80s model with new technologies and functions. The result is the Blaupunkt “Hamburg SQM 23 DAB”.\nIts operating concept, simple design and crystal-clear reception contributed significantly to the popularity of the original Hamburg car radio. For the new edition, we adopted the styling of the original model, but at the same time gave the radio modern multicolor lighting for the LC display. The key labels, which were then still illuminated with light bulbs, are now being replaced by modern and durable warm white LEDs. This lighting can also be activated via the vehicle lighting when the car radio is switched off.\nThanks to the Blaupunkt Codem FM RDS tuner and DAB+ digital tuner, first-class reception remains a strength of the new Youngtimer car radio. New are the multimedia interfaces for modern Apple® devices and USB mass storage media for playing music or charging mobile phones. The new model also supports Bluetooth® audio streaming from apps such as a music player or streaming service such as Spotify on the mobile phone.\nWith the help of the voice assistant on the mobile phone (such as Siri, Google or Alexa) the mobile phone can be accessed without having to pick it up. Of course, hands-free calling is also supported.\nSo that an audio source such as USB, Apple iPod or Bluetooth can be selected directly, a button on the device can be programmed via the menu to start your favorite source. The device settings are permanently saved, even if the battery is disconnected – even if this is no longer necessary thanks to the minimized standby power consumption to protect the battery.\nThe new “Hamburg SQM 23 DAB” has a short installation depth – ideal for classic cars with shortened installation shafts. But it’s not just the car radio itself that takes the user on a journey through time, the packaging of the device was also elaborately designed and modeled on the original.\nDAB AERIAL REQUIRES DAB RADIO TO NOT INCLUDED\nMulticolour LCD and Front USB\nThe display of the Hamburg SQM 23 DAB can be set in 7 different colors and thus adapted to the vehicle-specific cockpit lighting. One of the two USB ports is hidden behind the front flap. Short USB sticks can therefore visually disappear behind the flap to maintain the original look.\nSpecifications\nRadio\nHigh-End CODEM IV World-tuner,\nFM, AM, DAB, DAB+ Tuner with radiotext/ DLS,\nTraffic function,\nalphabetical DAB+ List,\nTravelstore,\nService following,\nBand Introscan\nMedia Player\nUSB (2x),\nMP2, MP3, WMA, FLAC, M4A (AAC), APE, WAV support,\nIntroscan,\nRepeatfunction,\nMixfunction,\nApple iPod Support\nBluetooth\nInternal and external Microfon,\nAudiostreaming with trackinfo,\nVoice assistant support (e.g. Siri, Google, Alexa),\nWake-up on call,\nPhonebook access\nSound\nSound presets,\nLoudness,\n4-channel pre-amp out+ Sub-out,\n4x 50 Watt\nGeneral\nMulticolour LCD (7 colors),\nDIM- function,\nNight design if switched off (Buttons),\nFavoritebutton for one source,\nPermanent memory,\nShort body (low installation depth) ,\nIR-remote option (compatible to old RC-10 remote control),\nSWC option (Steering Wheel Control)\nTechnical Specifications\nRadio Analog / Digital\nTuner Type: High-End Automotive Tuner Blaupunkt CODEM IV\nWorld Tuner (switchable): EU, USA, South America, Thailand\nFrequency bands: FM, AM, DAB, DAB+\nFrequency band FM: 87.5 – 108 MHz\nFrequency band MW: 531- 1602/ 530- 1710 kHz\nChannels (frequency band) DAB/ DAB+: 5A- 13F (174,928- 239,200 MHz)\nStation memory: 15x FM, 10x AM, 15x DAB\nStation memory banks: FM1, FM2, FMT, AM, AMT, DAB1, DAB2, DAB3\nStation memory levels deactivatable: FM2, FMT, AM, AMT, DAB2, DAB3\nStation display (PS)\nRadiotext\nDisplay DLS/ ENSEMBLE/ SERVICE\nAlternate frequency function (AF)\nTraffic Radio (TA) FM/ DAB\nAutomatic time adjustment\nEnhanced Other Networks (EON)\nRegional function (REG)\nProgram type identifier (PTY)\nTravelstore/ Number of Presets for Travelstore / 5x FMT, 5x AMT\nBand Scan\nSensitivity (FM): Two levels (lo / dx)\nNoise suppression (FM)\nHi-Cut (FM) (multi-level switchable)\nDAB-DAB Service following\nDAB-FM Service following\nService search\nEnsemble/ Service selection\nService browsing\nAlphabetical Service list DAB\nFrequency response FM (Hz) – 3 dB: 30 – 15.000\nFrequency response DAB (Hz) +/- 3 dB: 20 – 20.000\nMedia Player\nUSB front: yes (type A, recessed jack)\nUSB rear: (type A, cable)\nConcealed front inputs (USB usable with flap closed)\nCompatible file system of external storage devices: FAT16, FAT32, exFAT\nMaximum storage size of external storage devices: > 128 GB\nMaximum file/folder count of external storage devices: > 30.000\nPlayback formats: MP2, MP3, WMA, APE, FLAC, AAC, MP4, WAV\nDisplay options: ID3V2 (title, artist, album), folder, file, playtime Folder & file browsing\niPod, iPhone control (iAP2, Lightning/ USB-C) (USB front and rear)\nShuffle playback folder/ media\nRepeat Title/ Folder/ All\nIntroscan (4- 60 seconds adjustable)\nBluetooth®*\nPhone call\nInternal microphone\nConnectivity ext. microphone\nAnswer/ reject call\nAccess phonebook (max. 1000 numbers)\nAudio streaming\nAudio streaming ID3 track display (Title, Artist, Album, Playtime)\nVoice assistant access (e.g. Siri, Google, Alexa)\nAuto wake-up on call (when radio off + ignition on), deactivatable\nFast pairing without PIN\nAutomatic reconnection, last 5 devices\nBluetooth version: 5.0, compatible with V4.2 and V2.1 +EDR\nNumber of paired devices: last 5\nNo. of devices connected at the same time: 1\nSupported profiles: A2DP, AVRCP, HFP, SPP\nAudio Codecs: AAC, SBC\nAvailability/ support of functions depend on the phone/ app used!\nSound\nBass/ treble adjustment: Yes / yes (+/- 7 steps)\nSource specific bass/ treble adjustment\nBalance/ fader (+/- 7 steps)\nLoudness\nSound Presets (Rock, Pop, Classic)\nSpeaker Outputs (Channels): 4\nPreamp Outputs (Channels, Voltage): 4 (RCA, < 2V)\nSub-Out: 2 (RCA, gain/ frequency variable)\nMax.
