"description": "Transform your Mini (R55, R56, R57, R58, R59) with this complete single or double DIN stereo upgrade kit. Designed for Mini Clubman 1st Gen (2007–2014), Mini Hatch & Convertible 2nd Gen, and Mini Coupe & Roadster, this kit allows you to install modern head units with either single or double DIN format while maintaining a factory-integrated appearance.\nThe kit includes a custom-fit black fascia, a steering wheel control interface, a universal patch lead for the interface, and a male Fakra to male DIN aerial adapter, making installation straightforward. It preserves your Mini’s original steering wheel audio controls and antenna connectivity, allowing upgrades to modern features such as DAB radio, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and touchscreen stereos.\nIdeal for replacing outdated factory radios or upgrading to modern multimedia units, this kit delivers both style and functionality. Installation is plug-and-play, fully reversible, and requires no permanent modifications, giving your Mini a seamless integration with modern audio technology.\nPackage Includes\nSingle / Double Din Fascia Adaptor (Black)\nSteering Wheel Control Interface\nMale Fakra to Male DIN Aerial Antenna Adapter Cable\nUniversal Patch Lead\n{ vehicle_compatibility }\nFascia Adaptor\nReplacement car audio fascia to enable you to change the original radio in the car to a Single or Double DIN aftermarket version. This fascia adapter allows the fitting of an aftermarket radio into the cars dashboard by matching the shape, style, size and colour of the original OEM factory fitted radio.\nThis fascia kit uses side fixing brackets, the brackets fit directly to the sides of the new radio and the fascia panel.\nAn additional pocket is provided for Single DIN installation\nSuitable for second generation BMW 'R-series' Minis including Cooper, Cooper S, One, First, JCW and Cooper SD trim levels plus the special editions.\nThis fascia fits cars with both automatic and manual air conditioning controls and comes with blanking plugs for the heated screen buttons if the vehicle was not fitted with these originally. It also comes with a removable pocket for single DIN installations.\nSteering Wheel Control Interface\nSteering wheel control interface and radio adapter cable for select Mini (R55/R56/R57/R58/R59) car models. It is used to connect an aftermarket stereo upgrade and retain the use of the volume, track skip, source and phone buttons from the steering wheel with the new radio.\nThe CANbus interface will also provide ignition, illumination, speed pulse, reverse gear and handbrake output signals to the new stereo.\nThe cable adapts from the Quadlock connector in the car to standard ISO aftermarket ISO connectors. This replaces the need for a separate ISO radio replacement adapter cable.\nOTHER NOTES\nSome BMW cars go into Eco mode and the +12V supply to the radio drops causing the memory of the new radio to be lost, these cars will need a power supply directly from the battery to be supplied.\nCars with original parking sensors will require an additional interface to retain the parking tones, part number 42-CXPDC Installation instructions are included.\nMale Fakra to Male DIN Aerial Antenna Adapter Cable\nMale Fakra to Male DIN antenna adapter cable. This cable adapts from a Farka antenna connection at the back of the cars original radio to a standard aftermarket DIN antenna connection to allow the fitting of an aftermarket radio upgrade.\nThis is a passive adapter cable, not suitable for cars that need a phantom power supply to turn on the antenna amplifier.\nUniversal Patch Lead\nUniversal head-unit patch lead for 42-ACV series steering wheel control interface HU manufacturers use different variants for connecting a steering wheel remote control interface.\nDepending on the manufacturer and device, single-cable controls, two-cable and multi-cable controls as well as jack controls can be used. The connection variant can be found in the manual of the HU manufacturer.\nAll connections must be done before connecting the interface to the vehicle. If necessary, the SWC function must also be programmed in a HU menu according to the HU manufacturer manual.\nCheck for function before final assembly.\nInstruction Manual\n{ note_fittingkit_fascia_with_cage }\n{ note_fittingkit_footer }",
