"description": "Upgrade your vehicle with this complete stereo fitting kit for Ford Transit Euro 6 (2016–2019), designed to install an aftermarket single or double DIN head unit while retaining key factory features.\nThis kit is specifically designed for vehicles with a factory passenger airbag light integrated into the original radio panel, ensuring correct functionality is maintained after installation.\nBy combining a vehicle-specific fascia, steering wheel control interface and essential installation accessories, this kit provides a clean, professional OEM-style upgrade solution.\nPackage Includes\nSingle / Double Fascia with Brackets\nSteering Wheel Control Interface\nFakra to DIN Antenna Adapter Cable\nFord OEM Passenger Airbag Light Assembly\nUniversal Patch Lead (Included)\n{ vehicle_compatibility }\nUsing this fitting kit will result in the top screen display not being retained\nFascia Adaptor\nUpgrade your Ford Transit dashboard with this single / double DIN stereo fascia, designed for Ford Transit MK8 2014–2019 models finished in Black. It enables the installation of an aftermarket head unit while maintaining a clean, factory-style appearance.\nThe fascia is engineered for a professional fit using side fixing brackets, allowing the new stereo to mount securely without the need for a standard cage. A single DIN pocket is also included for flexible installation options.\nThis fascia is specifically designed for Transit models without a display above the factory radio, typically found on lower specification vehicles.\nCompatibility Note:\nThis fascia cannot retain the top display on Transit models that are equipped with one\nIf installed in vehicles with an upper display, the top display will be lost\nOnly suitable for vehicles without a display above the original radio\nSteering Control Adaptor\nUpgrade your vehicle’s audio system without losing factory functionality using this CANbus steering wheel control interface, designed specifically for selected Ford vehicles.\nThis interface allows the use of the original steering wheel controls when installing a new aftermarket head unit, helping you retain convenient and safe access to audio functions while driving.\nThe interface is designed for seamless CANbus integration, converting vehicle data signals into commands recognised by compatible aftermarket stereos. It supports connection with major head unit brands such as Pioneer, Kenwood, Alpine, Sony and more, with the correct patch lead.\nThis interface also retains the original aux and USB ports on Ford Ranger vehicles. Please note: aux and USB retention is not supported for Transit Custom vans.\nIn addition to steering wheel control retention, the interface can also provide key vehicle outputs such as ignition, illumination, reverse, and speed pulse signals, depending on vehicle specification. This makes it ideal for more advanced aftermarket stereo and navigation installations.\nDesigned for professional installers and experienced DIY users, this interface provides a reliable and practical solution for upgrading the stereo while preserving essential OEM features.\nCompatibility Notes\nOn Ford Transit vehicles this interface will only support the basic steering wheel controls, it will not support time/date display or trip computer\nOn Ford Transit Custom this interface will only support the basic steering wheel controls, it will not support time/date display or trip computer\nNot compatible with Ford Transit US models\nFakra to DIN Antenna Adapter Cable\nMale Fakra to Male DIN antenna adapter cable. This cable adapts from a Farka antenna connection at the back of the cars original radio to a standard aftermarket DIN antenna connection to allow the fitting of an aftermarket radio upgrade.\nThis is a passive adapter cable, not suitable for cars that need a phantom power supply to turn on the antenna amplifier.\nUniversal Patch Lead\nUniversal patch lead for 29-CT series steering controls. Suitable for Alpine, Clarion, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer, Sony and Chinese head-units that are steering wheel remote ready.\nThis cable plugs into the Steering wheel control box and into either the 3.5mm socket or single wire on the back of the head-units. Follow instruction to cut loops if needed.\nFord OEM Passenger Airbag Light Assembly (FORD-F1799698)\nAn additional airbag light unit is included with this fitting kit. If the vehicle originally had a passenger airbag status light in the radio panel, a replacement airbag status light unit (FORD-F1799698) must be fitted, as failure to refit one will cause airbag warning lights to appear on the instrument cluster.\nAdditional Switches\nDifferent switches may be required depending on the trim level and model variant. On some vehicles, the original lock and hazard switch cannot be retained, so a replacement switch panel is required (FORD-F1519127).\nWe stock all of these options, but they are sold separately. Please check your existing switch setup carefully before purchasing.\nSee the image below for examples of the components fitted into a fascia.\n{ note_fittingkit_fascia_with_cage }\n{ note_fittingkit_footer }",
