Built for a hassle-free installation, with everything you need included, no cutting or splicing required.\nTransform your BMW’s audio experience with the Phoenix Gold ZDC-BMW2 harness, specifically designed for BMW vehicles equipped with the Basic Sound System and with an ASD module. This innovative harness addresses a common issue found in these systems: the front door speakers and under-seat woofers are connected together, compromising sound quality and performance.\nIn the stock configuration, the small 4” door speakers are forced to handle lower bass frequencies, leading to distortion. Simultaneously, the under-seat woofers are required to reproduce midrange and treble frequencies they were not designed to handle, further degrading the audio clarity. The result? A muddled and distorted sound profile that falls far short of your vehicle’s potential.\nThe ZDC-BMW2 harness resolves this by separating the signal paths of the front door speakers, under-seat woofers, and rear speakers, enabling a fully active configuration. When paired with a Phoenix Gold ZDA6.8* DSP amplifier, this advanced setup allows precise tuning of frequency filters across the entire audio system. Each speaker can be finely calibrated to deliver optimal performance, dramatically reducing distortion, enhancing overall sound clarity, and unlocking the full potential of your vehicle’s sound system. The result is an immersive, balanced, and professional-grade audio experience like never before.\n{ vehicle_compatibility }\nInstallation\nDisconnect the OEM harness from your ASD module (located in the boot).\nConnect the ZDC-BMW2 cable to the OEM plug, then plug the other end into your ASD module.\nConnect the black ground wire from the harness to the vehicle’s negative battery terminal (-).\nConnect the yellow power wire from the harness to the vehicle’s positive battery terminal (+).\nRoute the underseat woofer cables:\nRoute the 4-pin connector with blue wires from the boot to the left front seat.\nRoute the 4-pin connector with red wires from the boot to the right front seat\nDisconnect the factory connectors from the underseat woofers beneath each front seat.\nInsert the loop connectors from the ZDC harness into the now-disconnected factory connectors.\nConnect the 4-Pin connectors to the underseat woofers (blue for left, red for right).\nConnect all ZDC-BMW2 connectors in the boot to the ZDA6.8* DSP amplifier.\nWith this quick and easy process, your physical installation is complete, allowing you to enjoy enhanced sound quality and performance.\nKey Benefits\nEnhanced Performance: The ZDA6.8* DSP amplifier delivers higher power output, increasing the dynamic range and overall volume capability of your system.\nSuperior Sound Quality: Featuring Class A/B technology, the ZDA6.8* amplifier significantly improves clarity and fidelity, creating a richer, more immersive audio experience.\nNote\nZDA6.8 is sold separately\nASD (Active Sound Design) simulates engine noise through the speakers.\nCompatible With\nZDA6.8\nConnectors\n1x 42-Pin Male Connector\n1x 42-Pin Female Connector\n1x 20-Pin Female Molex Connector\n1x 8-Pin Female Molex Connector\n1x 4-Pin Female Molex Connector\n1x 2-Pin Female Molex Connector\n2x 4-Pin Female BMW Woofer Connectors\n2x 4-Pin Male BMW Woofer Connectors\n1x M8 Yellow Power Cable\n1x M8 Black Ground Cable", "category": [ "Fitting Accessories", "Wiring Harness", "BMW" ], "tags": [ "1 Series", "F20 5DR F21 3DR 2ND LCI", "F21 3DR F" ], "images": [ "https://dev.dynamicsounds.co.uk/image/catalog/products/WiringHarness/Phoenix%20Gold/ZDC-BMW2/ZDC-BMW2.jpg", "https://dev.dynamicsounds.co.uk/image/catalog/products/WiringHarness/Phoenix%20Gold/ZDC-BMW2/ZDC-BMW2-1.jpg", "https://dev.dynamicsounds.co.uk/image/catalog/products/WiringHarness/Phoenix%20Gold/ZDC-BMW2/ZDC-BMW2-2.jpg" ], "price": { "currency": "GBP", "amount": 79.99, "regular": 79.99, "on_sale": false, "sale_ends": null, "includes_tax": false }, "quantity_discounts": [], "availability": { "in_stock": true, "status": "in_stock", "stock_status": "", "minimum_quantity": 1 }, "attributes": [], "options": [ { "name": "Addons", "type": "checkbox", "required": false, "values": [ { "name": "Dashboard Door Panel Trim Removal Tool Kit (5 Pcs)", "price_adjustment": 12.99, "in_stock": true }, { "name": "Dashboard / Door Trim Removal & Precision Hook Set (9 Pcs)", "price_adjustment": 19.99, "in_stock": true }, { "name": "Dashboard Trim Tool Panel (4 Pack Assorted)", "price_adjustment": 7.99, "in_stock": true }, { "name": "DC 5V-90V Voltage Circuit Tester Digital Display", "price_adjustment": 14.99, "in_stock": true } ] } ], "dimensions": null, "weight": { "value": 1, "unit": "kg" }, "rating": null, "reviews": [], "shipping": { "country": "GB", "rate": 0, "currency": "GBP", "free": true, "handling_days": { "min": 0, "max": 1 }, "transit_days": { "min": 2, "max": 5 } }, "returns": { "accepted": true, "window_days": 14, "unlimited": false, "fees": "customer", "country": "GB", "policy_url": null }, "warranty": "1 Year Warranty on all items", "updated": "2026-07-01T10:50:52+01:00", "store": { "name": "Dynamic Sounds Ltd.", "url": "https://dev.dynamicsounds.co.uk/", "currency": "GBP" }, "vehicle_compatibility": { "header": "Basic Sound System with ASD", "count": 25, "vehicles": [ { "make": "BMW", "model": "1 Series", "years": { "from": 2011, "to": 2019, "text": "2011 -
