"description": "URGENT NOTE: PLEASE CONTACT US PRIOR TO PURCHASING THIS ITEM, EMAIL US A PICTURE OF YOUR ORIGINAL STEREO AND CONFIRM THE MAKE, MODEL AND YEAR OF YOUR VEHICLE.\nA Cleaner Transit Custom Stereo Upgrade\nInstall a modern 9 inch stereo while retaining supported factory controls, display information and parking sensor audio. The vehicle-specific fascia, interface and adapters provide a neat, integrated dashboard installation.\nThis complete 9 inch stereo fitting kit is designed for selected Ford Transit Custom Trend models manufactured between 2012 and 2016. It is intended for compatible vehicles with the original information display positioned above the factory radio.\nThe kit includes the vehicle-specific fascia, CAN-Bus steering wheel control interface, universal patch lead and AM/FM aerial adapter required to install a compatible 9 inch Perfect Fit aftermarket head unit.\nIn addition to retaining the original steering wheel audio controls, the interface maintains supported date, time and temperature information on the factory display. It also retains the original parking sensor audio through the supplied replacement buzzer.\nPackage Includes\n9 Inch Double DIN Fascia Adaptor Panel\nCAN-Bus Steering Wheel Control Interface\nAM/FM Aerial Adapter\nUniversal Patch Lead\n{ vehicle_compatibility }\nFactory Features Retained\nSteering Wheel Audio Controls\nContinue using supported original steering wheel buttons with a compatible aftermarket stereo.\nParking Sensor Audio\nRetains the audible factory parking sensor warnings through the replacement buzzer supplied with the interface.\nOriginal Upper Display\nMaintains supported date, time and temperature information on the original display above the radio.\nUseful CAN-Bus Outputs\nProvides supported ignition, speed pulse, reverse gear, parking brake, illumination and antenna remote outputs.\nFascia Adaptor\nReplaces the original radio surround and integrates a compatible 9 inch Perfect Fit head unit into the Transit Custom dashboard.\nSteering Wheel Control Interface\nThe steering wheel control interface retains supported steering controls, display functions and factory parking sensor audio.\nThe aftermarket stereo must have a compatible wired steering wheel remote-control input. Available button functions depend on the original controls and the features supported by the new stereo.\nTelephone buttons may not be retained where they share functions with the seek buttons.\nThe interface retains supported factory parking sensor audio using the replacement buzzer supplied with the interface\nAM/FM Aerial Adapter\nThe male Fakra-to-male DIN aerial adapter connects the original Ford aerial plug to the new stereo.\nThe included 21-106 is a passive Fakra-to-DIN aerial adapter. It does not provide phantom power and is unsuitable for aerial systems that require a powered antenna amplifier.\nUniversal Patch Lead\nThe universal patch lead connects the interface to compatible Alpine, Kenwood, Pioneer and other supported stereos.\nThe included 29-025 patch lead connects the steering wheel control interface to the remote-control input on a compatible aftermarket stereo. It can be configured for several supported stereo brands.\nThe patch lead works with a compatible InCarTec 29-series interface and does not operate as a standalone adapter.\nImportant Vehicle Compatibility\nThis kit is for selected Ford Transit Custom Trend 2012-2016 models with the original display above the radio. It is not compatible with Euro 6 vehicles or models fitted with an “M” button.\nOriginal Display Retention\nThe interface maintains supported date, time and temperature information on the original upper display. It also allows the time and date to be adjusted using supported steering wheel controls.\nInstallation Advice\nInstallation should be completed by a suitably experienced person. Test the stereo, steering controls, original display, parking sensor audio and radio reception before refitting the dashboard panels.\n{ note_fascia_perfectfit }\n{ note_fittingkit_footer }",
