This pack works with all types of systems in the Audi TT model. It will work with Bose, non Bose and Digital Amp systems. We also prepare the wiring to aid installation so it makes it easier for you to install the system.
THIS IS WHAT A DOUBLE DIN STEREO WILL LOOK LIKE ONCE INSTALLED.
Fitting kit
Fascia Adaptor
This Adaptor will convert the non din-sized aperture left after removing the factory stereo to a double din size ready for head unit installation. The high quality finish, colour and texture are designed specifically to maintain the original look of your vehicles interior.
Aerial Adaptor
An Aerial Adaptor is needed when replacing the original factory fitted head unit with an aftermarket head unit.
Steering Wheel Interface
A stalk/steering wheel control Adaptor allows you to upgrade to an aftermarket head unit whilst maintaining use of your factory steering wheel controls or fitted on a stalk next to the steering wheel.
Stereo Removal Keys
Stereo Removal Keys to remove headunit from the fascia cage. Many OEM manufacturers are incorporating special locking mechanisms into their head units in an attempt to prevent stereo theft. This means that to remove one of these units you will require a manufacturer specific stereo removal key to prevent damage to the head unit or the surrounding fascia and cage.
This requires a connection from your new stereo to turn on the amplifier within the vehicle.
The wire colours differ slightly from stereo to stereo but are generally either blue in colour or blue with a white tracer as in the photos below.
The antenna adapter also has a blue wire that requires a connection to the same remote wire from the stereo harness.
If a remote wire is not present on your brand of stereo you can take a spurred feed from the red wire on the adapter harness.
