Complete stereo upgrade kit to install a Double DIN aftermarket radio and retain the use of the steering wheel audio controls in BMW 3-Series (F30, F31, F34) and 4-Series (F32, F33, F36) car models (WITH MOST-AMPLIFIED SYSTEMS)
This kit also retains the OEM factory climate controls, as well as the vehicle settings via the top display. This fitting kit will also retain the factory warning chimes/ parking sensor audio (Via the integrated speaker)
This kit will retain the OEM MOST fiber optic network usually found in amplified BMW sound systems such as Harman Kardon, this can easily be identifed by the Harman Kardon Logo being present on the door speakers (Tweeters)

Fascia Adaptor
This adaptor will convert the non din-sized aperture left after removing the factory stereo to a din size ready for head unit installation. The high quality finish, colour and texture are designed specifically to maintain the original look of your vehicles interior.
Steering Control Adaptor
A stalk/steering wheel control adaptor enables you to utilise the original factory remote audio (whether built onto steering wheel or fitted on a stalk next to the steering wheel) with an aftermarket unit.
Aerial Adaptor
An Aerial Adaptor is needed when replacing the original factory fitted head unit with an aftermarket head unit.
Universal patch lead
Universal patch lead to be used with In car Tec 49 series steering wheel control interfaces. Use for Alpine, Clarion, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer and Sony head units.
3-Series (F30) and 4-Series (F32) Sound Systems
The speaker systems in the F30 and F32 models are available in 3 different specification levels:
Base/ Basic Audio
This is the lowest-level BMW sound system, unavailable in the US and Canada. It consists of 6 speakers (4x Midrange, 2x Underseat Subwoofers) which are powered by the iDrive head unit with no additional BMW amplifier.
HiFi Sound Systems
This is an option one level above the Base system. This consists of 9 speakers and a seven-channel amplifier integrated into the loudspeaker system. The amplifier has no MOST bus connection and instead receives the switch-on signal via a separate line. Seperate speakers are installed in the HiFi system for the treble and mid-tone ranges. The HiFi system also has a mid-range speaker positioned as a centre speaker.
Top HiFi (Harman Kardon) and 'MOST' Sound Systems
This is the top tier BMW sound system. It consists of 16 speakers in total, with a 9-channel amplifier incorporated into the Sound system. The AMP is a bus connection in Media Orientated System Transport (MOST)
