Complete fitting kit to change the original radio in Mercedes vehicles for a single or double din after market unit.
Package Includes
- Fascia Adaptor Panel (Matt Black, With Removal Pocket For Single / Double Din Installation)
- Steering Control Interface
- Fakra to Din Antenna Adaptor
- Universal patch lead (Included)
Fascia Adaptor
This adaptor will convert the non din-sized aperture left after removing the factory stereo to a din size ready for head unit installation. The high quality finish, colour and texture are designed specifically to maintain the original look of your vehicles interior.
Steering Control Adaptor
A stalk/steering wheel control adaptor enables you to utilise the original factory remote audio (whether built onto steering wheel or fitted on a stalk next to the steering wheel) with an aftermarket unit.
The steering control interface in this kit is a CANBus interface which will also generate CAN ignition to the new head unit and provide speed pulse, reverse gear and handbrake output signals.
Aerial Adaptor
An Aerial Adaptor is needed when replacing the original factory fitted head unit with an aftermarket head unit.
