This cable adaptor style antenna connection at the back of the cars original radio to a standard aftermarket male DIN antenna connection to allow the fitting of an aftermarket radio upgrade.
The connector is rectangular with a round antenna terminal inside.
The loose blue wire needs to be connected to the blue antenna turn on wire output on the new stereo. This will need to be spliced into the wire if there is not a loose position for the terminal in the new ISO radio adapter cable connector.
This will turn on the original antenna amplifier in the car.
Aerial Adaptor
An Aerial Adaptor is needed when replacing the original factory fitted head unit with an aftermarket head unit. Antenna Adaptors are available in both ISO and DIN versions. Antenna Aerial Adaptor, converts car specific antenna connector to a universal aftermarket connector.
