CANbus steering wheel control interface for Mercedes CLS W219, E Class W211 and SLK R171 cars with original Mercedes NTG1 head units.
Gives CANbus Ignition outputs and retains steering wheel controls.
The CANbus interface will also give out CAN ignition, speed pulse and reverse gear outputs.
The cable adapts from the Quadlock connector in the car to standard aftermarket ISO connectors. This replaces the need for a separate ISO radio replacement adapter cable.
The CANbus steering wheel control interface is built in to the adapter cable for installation.
This interface will allow the original audio control buttons on the steering wheel to work with the new aftermarket radio. The interface will work the volume and track skip buttons.
The CANbus interface will also provide ignition, illumination, reverse gear, handbrake and speed pulse outputs.
This interface is supplied with a universal patch lead. This links the steering control interface to the steering wheel control input on the back of the new stereo.

- China Branded Headunit, please make sure your unit has 3 wires for connecting the patch lead to the car stereo that you are installing.

Secondly by checking to see if the connection in the picture is the same as you have in your vehicle. If the connection in the car is different from what you see in the picture then this adaptor is NOT suitable.
