Fascia Adaptor
This adaptor will convert the non din-sized aperture left after removing the factory stereo to a din size ready for head unit installation. The high quality finish, colour and texture are designed specifically to maintain the original look of your vehicles interior.
The fitting kit includes a Metallic Silver car radio fascia adapter panel (50-884-1) to allow the fitting of an aftermarket Double DIN car radio upgrade. The fascia adaptor allows the fitting of an aftermarket radio into the dashboard by matching the shape, style and colour of the original radio. For single DIN installation a pocket will need to be purchased separately.
This fascia kit uses side fixing brackets, the brackets fit directly to the sides of the new radio and the fascia panel. This replaces the need for a fitting cage and gives a flush professional appearance to the installation.
Steering Control Adaptor
A stalk/steering wheel control adaptor enables you to utilise the original factory remote audio (whether built onto steering wheel or fitted on a stalk next to the steering wheel) with an aftermarket unit.
A steering wheel control interface (29-692) is also included. The cable adapts from the original Kia connectors in the car to standard aftermarket ISO connectors. This replaces the need for a separate ISO radio replacement adapter cable. This interface will allow the original audio control buttons on the steering wheel to work with the new aftermarket radio.
Aerial Adaptor
An Aerial Adaptor is needed when replacing the original factory fitted head unit with an aftermarket head unit.
An antenna adapter is included in the kit (21-130). This adapts from the original style antenna connectors in the car to a standard aftermarket connector for the new stereo.
